Floor slot rail AS
The main parts of the slot rail consist of the side walls, the intermediate lamellas, the spacer sleeves and the fastening brackets. Fastening brackets, side walls and end covers together with the unfinished floor form a circumferentially closed duct in the screed.
The fastening brackets are available in several sizes so to permit the adjustment of the height level from 100 to 205 mm. Greater heights may also be achieved upon request.
The spacer sleeves between the side walls ensure a precise slot width of 8 mm.
The side walls are also provided with a groove for diffusion air baffles. These enable an even distribution of air. At the same time, the lateral end covers will be fastened in the grooves.
From the 2-slot version, the slot rail is supplied with one or more intermediate lamellas easily guiding the air jet into the room. Through the deflection of the air cone away from the window pane, any heat losses will be minimised.
The installation distance to the window can be optimized through different variants equipped with symmetrical and asymmetrical side walls.
For public as well as commercial areas, a version with equipped with a substructure duct can alternatively be supplied in order to safely drain away cleaning water. This solution is also adequate if there is no pool surround. Optionally, the supply air can then also be blown in from the side through a floor duct.
A construction site cover profile will be put at disposal as an accessory for the protection against damage as well as soiling in the course of the construction phase.
In the case of increased corrosion requirements (brine baths), the slotted rails may be anodized and all fastening elements (cross struts, screws, nuts, etc.) can be supplied in stainless steel type V4A.
